I do not connect my phone to my computer, I use a paid app called iSyncr and iSyncr WiFi to get all of those things sync'ed between the 2 devices. What is it you are trying to get to the phone? Music? Pictures? Videos? There are other ways of doing it. Tried using the debugging option and it didn't do anything. I have even tried using Vcast on my computer and it doesn't see it. I have updated to the latest driver on my computer, no effect. I have tried "Ask on connection" and "Mass storage" on the USB settings and I never get a USB indication on the notifications page.
